Abstract:

Mehmet Akif, who has long been forgotten and tried to be forgotten, has recently been intensely mentioned by official and private organizations. This memory shows that he is remembered with love and respect by almost every class of our society. Mehmet Akif is the only consistent person in the field of politics and ideas after 1908. The most obvious characteristic of Akif is his poetry in his poems and generations. It is not easy to criticize the people who are members of the society. Oysaki Akif criticized the community and the people of which he lived in motion from the events he witnessed with very heavy expressions. This character appears to us as a characteristic of his character. At the beginning of Akif’s criticism, the perception of civilization comes. It is not an anti-civilization and an enemy of civilization. Mehmet Akif is against the aggressive civilization that the colonial states use to destroy the poor peoples. Akif is against the mentality, which is called civilization in the name of the real civilization, not civilization, which is the humanity, which is armed with hands and blood, demonstrates wild behaviors. This is what Muhammad Akif has made in his works of a civilization. In this study, the poems and straight writings of Mehmet Akif will be handled on how he has a civilization perception and will try to identify the wrong thoughts on this subject.
