Abstract:

In this study, the aim is to study the relationship between the leadership directions of students studying at the Faculty of Sports Sciences and the sporting directions. The study involved a total of 250 university students, including 170 men and 80 women, who were voluntarily identified by easy sampling from unselective sampling methods. As a data collection tool developed by Bolman and Deal (1991) and adapted to Turkey by Dereli (2003) and developed by Vallerand and his friends (1997) and developed by Balçıkanlı (2010) and adapted to Turkey by Sportmenlik (4 subdimensions, 20 subdimensions). In the analysis of the data, sperm correlation tests have been applied because the identifying statistics and research data have not shown proper distribution. The analysis resulted in statistical relationships between the sporting direction and the leadership direction and between the subdimensions of both scales at the positive middle level. It has also been found that university students who receive sports education at the bachelor’s level have received high scores in sports and leadership levels. As a result, at the bachelor’s level, it can be said that sports training has an impact on the leadership direction and at the athletic direction.
