Ülkemizdeki yazma eserler müze, kütüphane ve özel koleksiyonlarda muhafaza edilmektedir. En çok istinsah edilen eserler arasında Kur’an-ı Kerîm nüshaları ilk sıralarda yerini almaktadır. Kütüphanelerde eserlerin görüntüleri, dijital ortama aktarılarak araştırmacıların hizmetine sunma çalışmaları yaygınlaşarak devam etmektedir. Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı bünyesinde bulunan yazma eserlerin kataloglama işlemi tamamlanarak araştırmacıların hizmetine sunulmuştur. Bu kütüphanedeki 000717-(1-30) envanter numaralı Kur’an-ı Kerîm cüzlerinin cilt ve tezhipleri çalışmanın konusunu oluşturmaktadır. İncelenen Kur’an-ı Kerîm her biri ayrı ciltlenmiş otuz adet cüzden müteşekkildir. Cüzlerin cilt ve tezhipleri üslup, dönem, işçilik, motif, renk, kompozisyon ve desen tasarımı açısından incelemeleri yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler değerlendirilerek desenlerin analiz çizimleri yapılmıştır. İstinsah tarihi belli olan, Kur’an-ı Kerîm cüzlerinin cilt ve tezhiplerinin döneminin özelliklerini yansıtıp yansıtmadığı incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre çalışmada incelenen Kur’an cüzlerinin cilt ve tezhip tezyinatının XIX. yüzyıl dönem tezyinat özelliklerini taşıdığı anlaşılmaktadır. İlave olarak çalışmada Kur’an-ı Kerîm cüzlerinin cilt süslemeleri ve tezhiplerinin desen, renk, motif ve üslupsal özelliklerinin değerlendirilerek, belgelenmesi de sağlanmış olacaktır.
