Abstract:

This study was conducted with the aim of evaluating the opinions and opinions of the graduate students of the Department of Health Management on the subject of internship education. The study was done to students of the Department of Health Management of the Faculty of Health Sciences of Selçuk University. Identifiable research has been used. The universe of the study consists of 150 people and reached 145 people.  The survey created by Aydoğan in 2002 was applied to students in the Department of Health Management. To test the reliability of the survey used in the study, the SPSS 20.0 package program conducted a 95% reliability analysis and the Cronbach Alpha value was 0.942. 62.1 per cent of the survey participants are women and 86.2 per cent are staging in government institutions. The courses they most benefit from in the internship training are the management of health institutions (79.3%), behavioral sciences and communications (77.2%), human resource management (53.1%) and quality management (50.3%). The lessons that students benefit the least were: production management (10.3%), public spending (7.6%) and foreign language (2.8%). When we look at the results of the study, they pointed out that health management students did not have an efficient internship with their general reputation and that a good internship training will contribute to their future lives, they will trust themselves, the environment acquired will be beneficial after graduation and will increase the success in the business life. Many of the courses given in the school in the study pointed out that it is difficult to connect with those taught in the internship and that theoretical courses do not provide much benefit except for a few.
