Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to determine the views of special skilled students on the teaching practices at the Science and Arts Center (BILSEM). The research is based on the work of the situation. The semi-configured interview form prepared by the researchers was used for the collection of data. The research work group consists of 56 special skilled students studying at Siirt Science and Arts Center in the spring period of the 2017-2018 educational-educational year. In the research, content analysis from qualitative research approaches has been used to analyze data. The reliability formula proposed by Miles and Huberman was used to confirm the reliability of the research. The study found that the majority of students contributed to the cognitive and personal development of education in BILSEM, while a few students did not benefit at the level they wanted. Since the students were close to all, they found the opportunity to develop themselves in terms of their abilities, he defended the view that BILSEM is very different from the school. Some of the students expressed their unrest in the BILSEM due to circumstances such as examination anxiety and fatigue, while many of the students continuing to the classes expressed their peace in the BILSEM. Although a significant proportion of students expressed that their expectations were met, the conclusion was that every student should be made an effort towards better recognition in order to be satisfied with the institution.
