Amaç: Bu çalışmamızda amaç, tıp eğitimi sonrasında hekim olmaya yaklaşmanın, tıp fakültesi öğrencilerinin organ-doku bağışı ve nakli konusundaki bilgi, düşünce ve tutumları üzerindeki etkisini araştırmak ve aynı zamanda konuya ilgilerini çekmektir. Materyal ve Metot: Çalışmaya toplam 323 öğrenci dahil edilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak 48 sorudan oluşan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın veri girişi ve analizleri SPSS 18.0 paket programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Analizlerde p<0,05 ise sonuçlar anlamlı kabul edilmiştir. Bulgular: Katılımcıların %10,21’i (33 kişi) organ bağışı, %8,35’i (27 kişi) organ nakli ile ilgili eğitim almıştır.
Purpose: The aim of this study is to explore the impact of the approach to becoming a doctor after medical education on the knowledge, thoughts and attitudes of the students of the Faculty of Medicine on the subject of organ-tissue donation and transplantation, and at the same time to attract their interest in the subject. Materials and Methods: A total of 323 students are included in the study. The survey form was used as a data collection tool, consisting of 48 questions. Data input and analysis of the study was done using the SPSS 18.0 package program. In the analysis p<0,05 the results were considered meaningful. Results: 10.21% of participants (33 persons) received organ donation and 8.35% (27 persons) received organ transplant training. The number of students in the 6th grade is significantly higher than the number of students in the 1st grade. 5.57% of students (18 persons) donated organs, while 48.60% (157 persons) wish to donate organs. Students of 6th grade are more likely to receive organ donations and donations. While there is no significant difference between classes in organ donation information score (p=0,505), the organ transplant information score (p<0,001) and the organ donation attitude score (p=0,001) are significantly high in 6th class students. The organ donation attitude score is higher for those who receive organ donation training (p<0,001). The result: Students receive education on organ donation and transplantation is quite low. During medical education, students’ attitudes towards organ donation have been positively influenced. However, many students do not have sufficient sensitivity to donate organs and participate in donation studies. The reason why students do not want to donate organs is that the lack of knowledge shows that effective training will have a positive impact on the number of organs donated.
