Abstract:

One of the important locations where people listen to audio recordings is the open and remote learning area. The aim of this study is to study the use of voice materials by individuals studying in the Anatolian University Open Education System from various perspectives. Themes such as the ideas of people about sound materials, the preferences to use materials, the reasons for people who do not use materials, the impact of the success of the use of sound materials have been studied. In the study first the quality, then the quantum data was collected in the "Discovering Continuous Combination Method" was preferred. The data in the qualification section was collected with semi-configured interviews from 20 people, quantial section with survey from 4,232 people and learning analytics that included all the students registered in the Open Education System. Qualitative data is analyzed through the IBM SPSS V.25 program, and qualitative data is analyzed through the IBM SPSS V.25 program. According to the research, individuals most often like sound materials in their homes, listening through their mobile phones. People who use these materials are more successful than those who do not use them. After the achieved results, recommendations were made to make sound materials more effective.
