Abstract The present work aims to address the approximations between Anthropology and Physical Education that are found in training in Collective Health. In this respect, interdisciplinarity is essential for renewing themes and incorporating new concepts. The point of convergence of these areas is the study of the body and health. The body is of interest to these areas not only because of its biological aspects and biomedical interventions, but because it is an expression of feelings, discourses and emblematic practices of social processes. This discussion intends to contribute to the academic formation and praxis of Collective Health on care related to bodily health.
