The historical history of relations between Latin America and China can be lasted by different sources until the fifth century. The history of political and economic relations began to develop after the 1990s. After China’s attempt to expand its trade partners, Latin American countries have gained greater importance. With the development of economic relations, the transfer of high amounts of Chinese investments to the region, on the one hand, has led to the supply of the resources left in the economy, on the other hand, China has gained the opportunity to evaluate its economic plus values. The tensions with the U.S. after the global financial crisis and trade wars are inevitable, and it is inevitable that the tensions with the U.S. will lead to new areas of conflict for the Latin American region. After the global financial crisis, China has made more investments in the world, and after the beginning of trade wars, it has started to pay more attention to bilateral trade relations. The fact that China is more beneficial than its trade relations is inevitable. In this study, China’s investments in Latin American countries (Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela and Ecuador) between 2005 and 2018 are analyzed from an economic-political perspective based on the “Theory of Dependency”.
