Abstract:

The most basic structure of communication is the language materials used in understanding and narration. The text in the curriculum books used when it comes to foreign language teaching also has a fundamental function in terms of word teaching. For this purpose, the words in the texts are expected to be selected among the words that students will need most in the target language and are also expected to be in accordance with their levels in terms of use. The aim of this study is to address the words passing in the reading texts at the Seven Climate Turkish teaching set B1 level in the basic, side and mecaz meaning dimensions and to identify the frequency of the word. Seven Climate Turkish teaching set B1 level has a total of twenty-four reading texts in eight topics. All of the words in these texts are studied in terms of meaning and are grouped according to the circumstances of true, side and mecas meaning and are considered by the number of frequencies. The research method was used and data was collected through the examination of the document. According to the findings of the study, the first topic is the most real (basic) meaning. It follows this side meaning. The word diversity and multi-sensitivity are different in each subject. However, there is no regular increase or decrease between themes in the distribution of multi-sensity and word diversity.
