Abstract:

Cumhuriyetin ilanıyla birlikte yönetim-din ilişkisi bakımından benimsenen laiklik anlayışı Kıta Avrupa’sı laiklik modeline dayanmaktadır. Bu model katı, baskıcı ve dini dışlayıcı etkilere sahiptir. AK Parti hükümeti döneminden itibaren ise yönetimde Anglosakson laiklik modeli hâkim olmaya başlamıştır. Anglosakson modeli ise çoğulcu, özgürlükçü ve dini dışlamayan özelliklere sahiptir. Türkiye’de yaşanan bu ideolojik değişim, eğitim alanını da etkilemiştir. Hükümetlerin laiklik algısı, özellikle din alanında mesleki eğitim veren İmam Hatip Okullarını ve İlahiyat Fakültelerini gündeme getirmiştir. Buradan hareketle çalışmada 2002 yılında iktidara gelen AK Parti hükümeti dönemindeki laiklik algısı ve buna bağlı uygulamaların İmam Hatip Okulları ve İlahiyat Fakülteleri üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Araştırma, nitel bir desene sahiptir. Veriler, doküman analizi tekniğine dayandırılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin incelenmesi arama, tarama, derleme ve yorumlama olmak üzere dört aşamada gerçekleştirilmiştir.

Abstract:

With the proclamation of the Republic, the understanding of secularism adopted in terms of the administration-religion relationship is based on the Continental Europe model of secularism. This model; it has strict, oppressive and religious exclusionary effects. Since the AK Party government period, the Anglo-Saxon model of secularism has started to dominate the administration. The Anglo-Saxon model, on the other hand, has pluralistic, liberal and non-exclusionary features. These ideological changes taking place in Turkey, has also influenced the field of education. Governments' perception of secularism brought to the agenda the Imam Hatip Schools and Theology Faculties, which provide vocational education especially in the field of religion. In this study, the perception of secularism during the AK Party government, which came to power in 2002, and the effects of its practices on Imam Hatip Schools and Theology Faculties were examined. The research has a qualitative pattern. The data were collected based on the document analysis technique. Data analysis was carried out in four stages: search, scanning, compilation and interpretation.
