The most simple expression of the metafor is to see and understand an object based on a different object. The metaphors combine two forms that seem to be uncompatible and presented to the audience in new meanings enables the intensity of the artistic expression to increase and the audience to keep the artwork more in memory. Metafor is one of the methods most applied by artists as an interdisciplinary form of expression. Umberto Eco claims that a thought that begins in the mind of the metafor is a corporate state. The artist helps the conceptual meaning he carries on the object to revive in the spectator's mind. From the past to the present day, the human body has been one of the topics that are indispensable and often interpreted by artists. The article aims to resolve the works of artists who, over time, removed from the traditional art understanding and revealed the concept of body using different art disciplines. Through the works of the artists, the objective is to do plastic readings with examples of metaphoric body image formation and elements such as material.
Metaphor in the simplest terms; Seeing an object with respect to an object is understanding. Metaphors, in fact, combining two forms and presenting them to the audience with new meanings increases the density of the work of art and ensures that the work of art remains more in the memory of the audience.
