Mekânı algılama becerisi, yeni sosyal bilgiler öğretim programında yer alan en önemli becerilerden biridir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, bu beceriyle ilgili sosyal bilgiler öğretimi alanında Türkiye’de yapılan deneysel çalışmaların karakteristik özelliklerini ortaya koymaktır. Bu kapsamda öncelikli olarak konuyla ilgili alan yazında yer alan akademik nitelikli çalışmalar taranmıştır. Dergi Park, Ulusal Tez Merkezi, TrDizin ve Google veri tabanlarında, belirlenen kriterlere uygun on bir araştırma tespit edilmiştir. Bunlardan üçü özgün araştırma makalesi, altısı yüksek lisans veya doktora tezlerinden üretilmiş makale, ikisi ise yüksek lisans tezidir. Söz konusu araştırmalara ait derlenen metinler incelenmiş, sınıflandırılmış ve analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları beş ayrı tema altında gruplandırılmış ve yorumlanmıştır.
Space perception skills are one of the most important skills included in the new social information curriculum. The aim of this study is to reveal the characteristics of experimental studies in Turkey in the field of social information teaching related to this skill. In this context, the academic qualifications that are included in the field of the subject are primarily examined. In the magazine Park, the National Thesis Center, TrDizin and Google databases, 11 research has been identified in accordance with the defined criteria. Three of them are original research articles, six are articles produced from a master's or doctoral thesis, and two are a master's thesis. The compiled texts of the research concerned have been studied, classified and analyzed. In the study, the method of content analysis was used. The research findings are grouped and interpreted under five separate topics.
