Abstract:

Gazi Mustafa Pasha, Fatih Sultan Mehmet, Sultan II. Bayezid, Yavuz Sultan Selim and Kanuni Sultan Suleyman have been in various duties during the period, and they have always been promoted by their commanders because of the superior success he has shown in his duties. The foundation, which he founded on his own behalf in 1514, contributed to the socio-economic structure of the region. The assets between the XV-XIX centuries of the Gazi Mustafa Pasha Foundation, their forms of use, the appointment of those who are responsible for the foundation and the members of the foundation are regularly recorded in the foundation documents. The assets of the foundation spread to a wide area in the Balkans, the settlements in which the foundation is located and the functions they perform are included in the foundation documents. Those who do not have any interest in this foundation are musallat and their removal is also recorded in the foundation documents. In the documents related to the foundation, the foundation is transferred, the immovable assets and the amount of income they provide are registered regularly. The foundation has prepared for the appointment of those from the descendants of Gazi Mustafa Pasha and for the recruitment of the foundation’s income, this research has been revealed.
