Abstract:

The classic Simple Montage Line Balance Problem (BMHDP) has been differentiated by many real-life practices in recent years. One of these is the sequence-dependent preparation long-term assembly line balance problem (HMHDP). In this study, HMHDP is differentiated by the existence of more than one resource in each business station. The process is done with any source at the workstation. The presence of more than one resource in each workstation can reduce the number of preparations, thus even the total number of the workstation needed can be reduced. The problem, source and order-dependent preparation is defined as the Temporary Montage Line Balance Problem (KHMHDP). KHMHDP is, at the same time, the assignment of the transaction to the workstation, the assignment of the transaction to the source and the classification of the transactions made using the same source. A mathematical model and genetic algorithm have been developed to solve the problem. The data set for KHMHDP was created, presented using the mathematical model and the genetic algorithm data set tested. The results show the effectiveness of the recommended methods and the use of more than one resource in each workstation in many test issues resulted in reductions in the total number of workstations.
