Abstract:

The parks contribute to the urban ecosystem with the plant coverage they host, and with the recreational facilities they offer to the physical and social development of the towns. City parks are areas with active and passive recreation opportunities that reflect the natural and cultural characteristics of the cities. According to the research, there are recommendations for the park based on the user reviews taken, evaluated and obtained by the findings for the Tataristan Bugulma Park located in the province of Epheler. For this purpose, literature related to the subject of research, photographs taken in the field, observation and survey forms and computer software have been used. Tataristan Bugulma Park has been studied in terms of suitability for the use of different age groups, time and season-related availability status, purpose of use, activity, facilities and equipment components, use, planting, maintenance, safety, availability and user satisfaction. According to the results and observations of the survey, it has been found that access to the Tataristan Bugulma Park is easy, the park allows users to gather and socialize and is generally liked by users. There are no regulations for disabled users in the park and the park is not safe. Rest areas and equipment are sufficient, but activities and facilities are not sufficient. The Tataristan Bugulma Park, located in the city centre and widely used, should create activities and facilities that meet the needs of users from different groups and should also include recommendations for disabled users in the park designs. Moreover, the maintenance of existing parks should be done more frequently to increase their use.
