The article is devoted to problems of analysis of the production process of leather manufacturing at the enterprise of automotive industry. The results of experimental studies during the technological processing of leather manufacturing are given. The main tool of statistical process control is control cards by which monitored the distribution of measurable characteristics of the production process, and whether they are within the control. The area on the graph shows the total change in both the manufacturing process and the measurement process. During the research the basis is the use of index reproducibility and process suitability of the quality control system that are effective tools for continuous improvement of quality, performance and management decisions. Statistical control method is used to assess the suitability of the production equipment (CP) and dispersion parameters (CPk) of the production process to explore availability or unavailability of the process.
