Abstract:

The intertwining of ethics and educational issues has led educators to ethics-based practices on issues such as pedagogical practices, curriculum content, assessment and evaluation, and relationships with students, parents and colleagues. As the relationship between ethics and education and the integration of ethics into education has increased, the number of scientific studies on this subject has also increased. For this reason, the aim of this research was determined as to examine studies in the field of ethics and education according to different variables and to reveal the current situation. Research was conducted using meta-synthesis method which is one of the qualitative research methods. Meta-synthesis studies in the study were accessed from ERIC and TR Index databases. Meta-synthesis of 353 studies whose full texts were reached was carried out. Studies were analyzed according to their years, study areas, research designs, study groups/sample sizes, sampling methods, data collection tools, data analysis methods and results. The findings obtained as a result of the analyzes were presented within the scope of the sub-problem of the research and discussed with the existing field literature.
