İletişim kavramı ile bilgi ve belge kavramları birbirleri ile ilişkili ve birbirlerini tamamlayan terimlerdir. Elde bulunan belgelerden üst düzeyde fayda elde edebilmek için; belgelerin bilimsel normlara ve ilkelere göre; edinilmesi, elden geçirilmesi, muhafaza edilmesi ve tekrar kullanılmak üzere hizmete sunulması gereklidir. Dokümantasyon faaliyetlerine tabi tutulması gereklidir. Sağlık kuruluşları insan sağlığını izlemekle sorumlu birimlerdir. Buralara gelen sağlıklı veya hasta kişiler kendilerinin ihtiyaç duyduğu işlemlerden geçirilirler. Bu işlemler neticesinde kişi ile ilgili birçok veri ortaya çıkar. Her sağlık kuruluşu tedavi ettiği tüm hastalara ait bu verileri muhafaza etmek mecburiyetindedir. Tıbbi sekreterler sağlık çalışanları olarak isimlendirilen takımın bir parçası olarak hastanın hastaneye başvurmasından taburcu işlemlerinin yapılmasına kadar olan tüm aşamalarda birçok farklı görevi üstlenmektedir. Bu çalışmada Tıbbi Dokümantasyon ve Sekreterlik Eğitimi ve güncel uygulama alanları incelenmiştir.

In this study, Medical Documentation and Secretarial Training and current application areas are examined.
