Bu çalışmada İslam hukuku alanında Türkiye'de uzman kişilerden biri olan Prof. Dr. Ahmet ÖZEL'İN "İslam Devletler Hukukunda Savaş Esirleri" isimli eserinin değerlendirilmesine yer verilmektedir. Çalışma, eserin fiziki özellikleri, içeriği, dil ve üslubu, eserde uygulanan metodolojisi ve kaynaklarının değerlendirilmesi üzerine kurulmuştur. Hacim olarak çok büyük eser, İslam Devletler Hukuku ve Savaş Esirleri konularında yazar tarafından mütevazi bir giriş olarak nitelendirilse de bu alanda büyük boşluk dolduracak mahiyettedir.
This study includes the evaluation of the work of Prof. Dr. Ahmet ÖZEL, one of the specialists in Islamic law in Turkey, entitled "War Prisoners in Islamic State Law". The study is based on the assessment of the physical characteristics, content, language and style of the work, the methodology and resources applied in the work. The great work as a scale, although the author is described as a modest entry in the Islamic State Law and War Prisoners issues, it is intended to fill a great empty space in this area.
