Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen adaylarının bilimsel süreçte bilgi iletişim teknolojileri (BİT) kullanım durumlarını belirlemek amacıyla bir ölçek geliştirmektir. Bu amaçla, araştırma kapsamında “Bilimsel Süreçte Bilgi İletişim Teknolojileri Kullanımı Ölçeği” geliştirilmiştir. Araştırma, genel tarama modelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma, Adıyaman Üniversitesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği Bölümü’nde öğrenim gören 245 öğretmen adayının katılımıyla gerçekleşmiştir. Araştırma sürecinde öncelikle, madde havuzu oluşturulmuş ve hazırlanan taslak formun ön uygulaması yapılmıştır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini belirlemek amacıyla 53 maddeden oluşan taslak ölçeğe uygulanan faktör analizi sonucunda, faktör yükü 0.50’un altında olan maddeler ve aynı anda birden çok faktörde yer alıp iki faktördeki yükleri arasındaki fark 0,20’den küçük olan maddeler elenerek beşli likert tipinde 25 maddeden oluşan nihai ölçek elde edilmiştir. Geliştirilen ölçek bilgiyi kullanma, deney tasarlama ve uygulama, bilimsel süreç becerilerini kullanma, araştırma ve geliştirme alt boyutlarından oluşmakta ve toplam varyansın yüzde 57,872’sini açıklamaktadır. Ayrıca, ölçeğin güvenirlik katsayısı 0,93 olarak bulunmuştur. Elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda, geliştirilen ölçeğin geçerli ve güvenilir olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The main purpose of this study is to develop scale in order to determine prospective science teachers’ status of using technology in scientific process. For this purpose, "Using Information Communication Technology Scientific Process Scale" developed in the the research.A survey method was employed in this study. 245 prospective teachers who studying in the Faculty of Education in Adiyaman University attended the research. In the research process, firstly item pool has been created and is made of pre-treatment. In order to determine the construct validity, factor analysis were applied to the scale composed of 53 items. Final scale with 25 items was obtained by eleminating the items which has factor loads lower than 0,50 and the items both locating under two factors at the same time and difference of factor loads under this factors lower than 0,20. The scale is composed of using information, experiment design and implementation, using science process skills, research and development subdimensions and is explained the 57,872 percentage of the total variance. Also, the reliability coefficient was found to be 0.93. According to findings, it was concluded that the scale is valid and reliable
