Abstract:

Purpose: In the study, the behavior of the grand and core families of the mothers and the concepts of selfishness of the children of these mothers between the ages of 48-72 months were studied in terms of some variables. Tool and Method: The work is in the relational scan model. The sample group of the study consists of a total of 300 mothers and 300 children, including 148 mothers living in a core family, 152 mothers living in a wide family and their children between 48-72 months. The sample group used the "Baby Attitude Measurement" developed by Karabulut Iron and Shendil in 2008 to measure the behavior of mothers in childbirth, while the "Purdue Pre-School Concept Measurement for Children" developed by Cicirelli in 1974 to measure the concepts of children's selfie. The findings and findings: The research found that the behavior of mothers to raise children and the concepts of selfishness of children did not differ significantly according to their broad and core family presence. The research also found that the relationship between mother’s childhood behavior and their child’s self-concepts was high, positive and meaningful.
