Abstract:

It has been necessary to develop some theoretical approaches in order to solve today’s asylum seeker, refugee and immigrant issue. In this article, some concepts will be mentioned in the context of problems experienced in 2010 in particular, the birth of a new theoretical approach called the IRealism (the IRealist Approach) regarding solving problems will be witnessed while theories such as Idealism and Realism are used. In order to base this approach on well-founded, Hegel’s thesis+antithesis=synthesis point of view will be used, attributions will be made to Positivist and Post-Positivist theories to form the methodology of the IRealist approach. Besides, chronological information will be given by the help of all this knowledge in the perspective of the Idealism-Realism Synthesis (the IRealism), the periods of World War I and II, significant characters such as Fridtjof Nansen and their contributions to the problems of asylum seekers and refugees will be mentioned. The transition process of Syrian asylum seekers from Turkey to the Balkans and countries of the European Union will also be mentioned to transfer the theoretical knowledge trapped in the abstract area to the concrete area. What is more, the repercussions of behaviors of countries such as Greece etc. on legal issues such as the Geneva Refugee Convention will be analyzed, while the conceptual deficit in this area will be tried to be solved by the IRealism, it will be explained how actors such as state and international organization should create a balance element. In the conclusion field, it will be mentioned that how the flow of asylum seekers and refugees in the world increases, what kind of scenario will be faced unless the IRealist measures are taken, which agreements and treaties should be a guide for a solution and if these measures are not taken, what kind of consequences will take place in Turkey, the Balkans, Europe etc.
