Kur’ân’daki kelimeler ayete ve bağlama göre farklı anlamlar kazanabilir. Ancak herhangi bir kelimeye tefsirlerde ve meallerde farklı anlamlar verilmesi, bazen ayetleri anlamayı zorlaştırmakta ve anlam karışıklıklarına yol açabilmektedir. Böyle bir probleme sebep olduğunu düşündüğümüz kelimelerden biri fuâddır. Bu çalışmada fuâd kelimesinin ayetlerdeki kullanımı incelerek kelimenin anlamına ulaşmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, kelimenin sözlük anlamı araştırılmış ve ilgili ayetler bağlamıyla incelenmiştir. Sözlükler ve klasik tefsirlerin kaynak olarak kullanıldığı çalışmada deskriptif yöntem kullanılmıştır. Kaynaklarda daha çok kalp, beyin, akıl anlamları verilen fûad kelimesinin temelde bir duyu, yeti veya işlevi ifade ettiği kanaatine varılmıştır. Bu kelimenin algılama, idrak etme, düşünme, anlama, sezme gibi anlamlar içerdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ancak ayetlerde, bahsi geçen yetilerin ait olduğu organa, mecaz yoluyla işaret edilmiş olması da mümkündür. Bu ise anlamayı zorlaştıran karışıklığın ortaya çıkma sebebidir. Çünkü fuâdın anlamı olarak sunduğumuz algılama, düşünme, akıl yürütme gibi işlevler beynin görevi olarak bilinse de Kur’ân bunların yeri olarak kalbi göstermiştir.
The words in the Qur’an may gain different meanings according to the Qur’an and the link. But giving any word different meanings in interpretations and meals sometimes makes it difficult to understand the verses and can lead to meaning confusion. One of the words that we think is a cause of such a problem. In this study, the purpose of the word fuad is to find the meaning of the word by examining the use of the word fuad in signs. For this purpose, the vocabulary meaning of the word has been studied and studied in the context of the relevant verses. Descriptive methods have been used in the study where dictionaries and classical interpretations are used as a source. In the sources more heart, brain, and mind meanings given the word fûad is founded to be a sense, feeling, or function. This word has come to the conclusion that it contains meanings such as perception, consciousness, thinking, understanding, sensation. But it is possible in the verses that the organs that belong to the talents are indicated by the mosque. This is the reason for the confusion that makes it difficult to understand. For the meaning of the Qur’an is that the perception, thought, and mindfulness are known as the task of the brain, but the Qur’an has shown the heart as the place of them.
The words in the Quran can have different meanings depending on the verse and its context. However, giving different meanings to any word of Quran in tafsirs and translation make it difficult to understand the verses and may cause confusion. One of the words that we think causes such a problem is fuâd. In this study, it is aimed to reach the meaning of the word by examining the usage of the word fuâd in the verses. For this purpose, the lexical meaning of the word was researched and the relevant verses were examined in context. It was preferred descriptive method in the study in which dictionaries and classical tafsirs were used as sources. It is concluded that the word fûad, which means mostly heart, brain and mind in the sources, basically refers to a sense, ability or function. It is reasoned that this word contains meanings such as perception, comprehension, thinking, understanding, and intuition. However, in the verses, it is possible that the organ to which the aforementioned abilities belong is meant through metaphor. This is the reason for confusion that makes it difficult to understand. Because, although the functions such as perception, thinking, reasoning that we present as the meaning of fuâd are known as the task of the brain, the Quran has shown the heart as their place.
