Değer bireyin duygu, düşünce, tutum, davranış ve kararlarını etkileyen maddî ve manevî öğelerin bütünüdür. Değerler toplumu oluşturan bireylerin çoğunluğu tarafından doğru kabul edilir. Bu açıdan bakıldığında değerlerin hem bireysel hem de toplumsal yönü olduğunu ifade edebiliriz. Değerlerin oluşmasında din büyük bir etkiye sahiptir. Bunun nedeni dinlerin ahlaklı insan yetiştirmek istemesidir. Dinî kaynaklı değerlerden biri şükürdür. Şükür, ilahî bir emir olmasının yanı sıra beşerî ilişkileriçin de önemlidir. Şükür değerini içselleştirmiş bireyler, kendisine verilen nimetlerden dolayı Yaratıcıya şükran hâlinde olurken, kendisine yardım edene teşekkür ederek insanî ilişkilerde olumlu bir davranışta bulunmuş olur. Çalışmamızın amacı toplum tarafından kabul görmüş bir şahsiyet olan Âşık Ruhsatî’nin şiirlerinde yer alan şükür kavramını değerler eğitimi bağlamında incelemektir. Âşık Ruhsatî tasavvufi kültürden beslenen bir halk şairidir. 1911 yılında vefat eden şâir hakkında bugüne kadar birçok çalışma yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak Âşık Ruhsatî’nin şiirlerinde yer alan şükür kavramı incelenmiştir. Çalışmamızda değerler ve değerler eğitiminin önemine değindikten sonra şükür kavramının tanımı üzerinde durulmuştur. Âşık Ruhsatî’nin hayatı ve şiirleri hakkında bilgi verilmiş, şairin şiirlerinde geçen şükür değeri tespit edilerek konu bağlamında değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmamız neticesinde, şairin şiirlerinde bir değer olarak şükür kavramına geniş ölçüde yer verdiği, bu sebepten dolayı değerler eğitimi açısından önemli bir kaynak teşkil ettiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
Value is the whole of material and spiritual elements that affect an individual’s feelings, thoughts, attitudes, behaviors and decisions. Values are accepted as true by the majority of individuals forming the society. From this point of view, we can state that values have both individual and social aspects. Religion has a great influence on the formation of values. This is because religions want to raise moral people. One of the values of religious origin is gratitude. In addition to being a divine command, gratitude is also important for human relations. Individuals who have internalized the value of gratitude are grateful to the Creator for the blessings given to them, and by thanking those who help them, they have a positive behavior in human relations. The aim of our study is to examine the concept of gratitude in the poems of Âşık Ruhsatî, a figure accepted by the society, in the context of values education. Âşık Ruhsatî is a folk poet who is fed from Sufi culture. Died in 1911, many studies have been carried out about the poet until today. In this study, the concept of gratitude in Âşık Ruhsatî’s poems is analyzed by using qualitative research method. In our study, after mentioning the importance of values and values education, the definition of the concept of gratitude was emphasized. Information about the life and poems of Âşık Ruhsatî was given, the value of gratitude in the poet’s poems was determined and evaluated in the context of the subject. As a result of our study, it has been concluded that the poet includes the concept of gratitude as a value in his poems to a large extent and for this reason, it constitutes an important source in terms of values education.
