In this study, it was aimed at determining the levels of haptoglobin (Hp), ceruloplasmine (Cp) and some biochemical parameters before and after treatment in dogs naturally infected with babesiosis. Animal material of the study consisted of 10 dogs of different age and sex. There were icterus, hemoglobinuria and lack of appetite in dogs. After clinical examination and Giemsa staining, the disease was diagnosed by the presence of agents in erythrocytes. After diagnosis, blood samples were taken from animals before and after treatment and the serum was separated. In these serums, Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT) and Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST) enzyme activities, HP, CP, Urea and Creatinine levels were determined. Pre-treatment ALT (P<0.05) and AST (P<0.05) enzyme activities, uria (P<0.05), creatinine (P<0. 05) and CP (P<0.001) levels were determined higher than post-treatment. Pre-treatment Hp level was determined lower compared to post-treatment level (P<0.001). As a result, significant changes in ALT and AST enzyme activities, Urea, Creatinine, HP and CP levels were determined in dogs with Babesiosis. It was concluded that the follow-up of these parameters may be important in the prognosis and treatment process of the disease in dogs.
