Turkey's very dangerous class is located in the building sector, the major cause of employee circulation is more than the number of accidents at work, busy schedule, it is seen that the lack of information and education. From this point of view, it is important to examine the occupational health and safety training methods that will be given to the employees in the construction sector and to investigate the awareness levels of the employees on this issue. A research has been conducted in order to reveal the awareness levels of the employees in terms of preventing occupational accidents encountered in the construction sector. With the research, education methods and awareness levels were examined with a questionnaire consisting of 27 questions for a group of 200 people. As a result of the survey, it was revealed that there is a significant relationship between the training method and the awareness level of the employees. In groups of 25 people, only the test was applied without any pre-training, then verbal training was given and the exam was conducted to obtain information about the areas that the participants learned from the training. After 45 days of this application, a pre-training test was applied to 25 people without any application, visual training was given, and it was aimed to get information about the areas that the participants learned by performing the exam again. In this study, occupational health and safety training methods that will be given to employees with surveys conducted in different groups and with different methods were examined and the awareness levels of the employees on this issue were investigated. According to the results of the research, it was observed that the knowledge level of the workers in the construction sector about occupational health and safety is low in the first place without training. According to the results of two different studies, it was observed that if the training method given was verbal, the level of knowledge acquisition of the employees was low, and in the visual and field applied training method, the employees actively participated in the training and made comments by watching the visual presentations. It has been revealed that as the education level of the employees increases, the security awareness starts to develop spontaneously.
