Psikolojik sağlamlık, yaşamın zorlu mücadelesinde psikolojik olarak sağlıklı kalabilmenin en önemli koruyucu faktörlerinden biridir. Bu nedenle psikolojik sağlamlığı artırıcı faktörlerin belirlenmesi, psikolojik sağlığı korumak için önemli bir adım olacaktır. Bu çalışmanın amacı da, üniversite öğrencilerinin bilişsel esneklik düzeyleri ile psikolojik sağlamlıkları arasındaki ilişkide öz şefkatin aracılık rolünü incelemektir. Araştırma nicel araştırma desenlerinden yordayıcı ilişkisel tarama yöntemi ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 140 üniversite öğrencisinden oluşmaktadır. Veriler, Psikolojik Sağlamlık Ölçeği, Bilişsel Esneklik Ölçeği, Öz Şefkat Ölçeği-Kısa Form ve kişisel bilgi formu kullanılarak sınıf ortamında araştırmacı tarafından toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde yapısal eşitlik modellemesi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulguları incelendiğinde, bilişsel esnekliğin psikolojik sağlamlığın anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olduğu ve bu ilişkide öz şefkatin tam aracı rolü olduğu bulunmuştur. Model kapsamında psikolojik sağlamlığın % 43’ü açıklanmıştır.

Therefore, determining the factors that increase psychological resilience will be an important step to protect psychological health. The aim of this study was to examine the role of self-compassion in the relationship between cognitive flexibility and psychological resilience of university students. The research was conducted with the predictive relative scanning method, one of the quantitative research designs. The study group consisted of 140 university students. Data were collected by the researcher in the classroom using the Psychological Resilience Scale, Cognitive Flexibility Scale, Self Compassion Scale-Short Form and personal information form. Structural equation modeling was used for data analysis. When the findings of the study were examined, it was found that cognitive flexibility was a significant predictor of psychological resilience and that self-compassion had a full mediating role in this relationship. Within the scope of the model, 43% of psychological resilience was explained.
