Ümraniye Durmuş Tanış Aile Sağlığı Merkezine Başvuran 65 Yaş Üzeri Hastalarda Malnütrisyon Sıklığı ve İlişkili Durumlar

Abstract:

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı Ümraniye Durmuş Tanış Aile Sağlığı Merkezine başvuran 65 yaş üzeri yaşlı hastalarda malnütrisyon sıklığını belirlemek ve malnütrisyonla ilişkili olabilecek durumları ortaya koymaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Kesitsel ve tanımlayıcı bir araştırma olan bu çalışmamız Ümraniye Durmuş Tanış Aile Sağlığı Merkezine 1Kasım 2019- 28 Şubat 2020 tarihleri arasında başvuran 65 yaş üzeri yaşlı hastalara uygulanmıştır. Hastalara Mini Nutrisyonel Değerlendirme(MNA) Testinin kısa ve uzun formları uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca hastalara 17 soruluk bir anket formu yapılmıştır. Veriler SPSS 22.0 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışmaya toplam 238 kişi dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmaya dahil edilen katılımcıların %2,1 inde malnütrisyon, %5,04 ünde malnütrisyon riski saptanırken, katılımcıların %92,8 inin beslenme durumunun iyi olduğu saptandı. Malnütrisyon durumuna göre en az bir kronik hastalığı olanlara bakıldığı zaman, maknütrisyon ve malnütrisyon riski olan hastaların %94,1 inin kronik bir hastalığı varken, malnütrisyonu olmayan hastaların %89,6 sının kronik bir hastalığı vardı. Ancak bu fark istatistiksel olarak anlamlı değildi(p:0,470) Sonuç: Yaptığımız çalışmaya göre birinci basamağa başvuran yaşlı hastalarda malnütrisyon ve malnütrisyon riski sıklığı, ikinci ve üçüncü basamağa başvuran hastalardan daha düşük bulunmuştur. Ayrıca malnütrisyon ve malnütrisyon riski olan yaşlı hastalarla, malnütrisyonu olmayan hastalar arasında kronik hastalıklar açısından anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır. The aim of this study is to determine the frequency of malnutrition in patients aged 65 and older who apply to the Family Health Center and to identify the conditions that may be associated with malnutrition. Tools and Methods: This study, which is a cutting-edge and identifying research, is applied to patients aged 65 years and older who apply to the Family Health Center of Umraniya Stop Knowledge between November 1, 2019 and February 28, 2020. The patient has received short and long forms of the Mini Nutrition Assessment (MNA) Test. There were also 17 questions for the patient. The data was analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 package program. A total of 238 people were involved in the study. The study found that 2.1 per cent of the participants were at malnutrition and 5.04 per cent at malnutrition, while 92.8 per cent of the participants were in good nutritional condition. In those with at least one chronic illness according to malnutrition, 94.1 percent of patients with the risk of macnutrition and malnutrition had a chronic illness, while 89.6 percent of patients without malnutrition had a chronic illness. However, this difference was not statistically meaningful (p:0,470) The result: According to the study we conducted, the risk of malnutrition and malnutrition in the elderly patients in the first and third stages was lower than in the patients in the second and third stages. There was also no significant difference in terms of chronic diseases between elderly patients with the risk of malnutrition and malnutrition, and non-malnutrition patients. Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the frequency of malnutrition in patients over 65 years old who applied to Ümraniye Durmuş Tanış Family Health Care Center, and to reveal the conditions that may be associated with malnutrition. Materials and Methods: This study was applied to elderly patients over 65 years of age who applied to Umraniye Durmus Tanis Family Health Care Center between 1 November 2019 and 28 February 2020. This research was made as a cross-sectional and descriptive study. Short and long forms of the Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA) test were applied to the patients. In addition, a questionnaire form with 17 questions was given to the patients. The data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 package program. Results: A total of 238 people were included in the study. While %2.1 of the participants included in the study had malnutrition and %5.04 of had risk of malnutrition, 92.8% of the participants had good nutritional status. Considering those with at least one chronic disease according to malnutrition status, %94.1 of patients with risk of malnutrition and malnutrition had a chronic disease, while %89.6 of patients without malnutrition had a chronic disease. However, this difference was not statistically significant (p:0,470) Conclusion: According to our study, the risk of malnutrition and malnutrition was found to be lower in elderly patients who applied to the first step health care than those who applied to the second and third steps health care. In addition, no significant difference was found between elderly patients at risk of malnutrition and malnutrition and patients without malnutrition in terms of chronic diseases.
