Synergy or working together in patient care is defined as the outcomes that can be obtained as a result of combining a nurses' competencies with a patient and family's needs. The Synergy Model, which was developed by the American Intensive Care Nursing Association, creates a foundation for documenting primarily acute care and intensive care nursing. In addition, because this model can be implemented and is easily adaptable, it can be implemented in every kind of setting from basic care facilities to operating rooms. In this article how the Synergy Model was implemented in one case was discussed. A patient with leukemia was chosen as the case and the results o btained in the implementation of the model were presented symptom control, increased knowledge and satisfaction
