Uganda is one of the most important countries in East Africa, both in terms of its location and population density. While this country maintained its existence for a long time under its own conditions, by the 19th century, it was one of the places where European powers were interested in. However, Uganda gained importance for the great powers of Europe towards the end of the century. This was also due to the fact that the European states were initially interested in coastal areas and that Uganda had more influence around Lake Victoria as well at the beginning of the century in Uganda, there were leaders who could at least hold the masses together. However, the forces that settled in the coastal regions towards the last quarter of the nineteenth century had begun to advanced further towards interior regions; therefore the companies established in the region had undertaken an important task. One of them was Imperial British East Africa Company. The company acquired some land in a territory where Italy, Germany and France were in the colonial race, but wanted to withdraw in 1894 as it had lost its grips. Then, England decided to settle in the region that became suddenly center of international competition. This study aims to find out the course of this incident which had an effect on the existence of the Ottoman State in East Africa, a reflection on the solution of the Egypt Question and interested the Muslim community in the region. Additionally, it also focuses on the following of the events by the Ottoman Empire
