The duality concept in Hittite society, i.e. becoming integrated of woman and man, appears itself as a few relationship forms like “god-goddess”, King-queen” and “father-mother”. Some facts that the sun goddess of Arinna has an equal place near Storm god, the head of assembly of gods ruling the universe, and more authority than him; the “queen” joined to the administrative issues near king, who was the owner of earth domination; the “mother” participated directly to the production near father, the sovereign over households, make us to think how Hittites were patriarchal. In this study, we aim to investigate dichotomic parity between Hittite king and queen in the light of written sources.
