Bu araştırmanın amacı mezun durumunda olan İlk ve Acil Bakım Teknikerliği programı öğrencilerinin görev, yetki ve sorumlulukları dahilinde yapmaları öngörülen mesleki uygulamaları yapma sayıları ile bu konularda kendilerini yeterli hissetme durumlarının değerlendirilmesidir. Tanımlayıcı türde yapılan bu araştırma 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında, bir Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu İlk ve Acil Yardım Programı 2. sınıfında aktif öğrenim gören 62 öğrenci ile yapıldı. Veriler araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan veri formları kullanılarak, bahar yarıyıl sonu sınavı öncesinde, sınıf ortamında toplandı. Elde edilen verilerin analizleri bilgisayar ortamında frekans ve yüzdelik, ki kare analizi ile yapıldı. Sonuçlar %95'lik güven aralığında, anlamlılık p<0.05 düzeyinde değerlendirildi.Öğrencilerin %83.9’u acil doğum durumunda doğuma yardım, %50’si defibrilatör kullanımı, %49.2’si endotrakeal entübasyon, %22.6’sı kardiyopulmoner resusitasyon, %21.3’ü kanama kontrolü, %19.4’ü kırık stabilizasyonu uygulama fırsatı bulmadıklarını ifade etti. Ayrıca kardiyopulmoner resusitasyon uygulaması, defibrilatör kullanımı ve acil doğum uygulamasını, en az bir kere deneyimlemiş olan öğrencilerin, hiç uygulama deneyimi olmayan öğrencilere göre, bu konularda kendilerini anlamlı olarak yüksek oranlarda yeterli hissettikleri bulundu (p˂ 0.05).Bu bulgular doğrultusunda öğrencilerin uygulama imkanlarının arttırılması için gerekli düzenlemelerin yapılmasının, yeterli uygulama imkanı bulamadıkları konularda da maket ve/veya simülasyon üzerinde eğitim ortamlarının oluşturulmasının öğrencilerin eğitim ve yeterlilik düzeylerine olumlu katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
The purpose of this research is to evaluate the number of professional practices planned to be carried out within the responsibilities, powers and responsibilities of the students of the Primary and Emergency Care Engineering program in the state of graduation and the conditions in which they feel adequate in these subjects. This defining type of research was done in the 2017-2018 educational year, with 62 students who saw an active study in the first and second class of the Emergency Assistance Program in a Health Services Professional High School. The data was collected in the classroom, using the data forms prepared by the researchers, before the spring semester end exam. The analysis of the obtained data was done with the frequency and percentage in the computer environment, which is the frame analysis. The results were assessed at a 95% confidence range, meaningfulness at p<0.05 level. Students; 83.9 percent said they did not find the opportunity to apply emergency birth aid, 50 percent use of defibrillators, 49.2 percent endotrakeal entubation, 22.6 percent cardiopulmonary resuscitation, 21.3 percent bleeding control, 19.4 percent broken stabilization. In addition; the application of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the use of defibrillators and the application of emergency birth,students who have experienced a little time, compared to students who have no practice experience, found themselves feeling significantly high in these subjects (July 0.05). According to these findings, it is believed that the implementation of the necessary arrangements to enhance the applicable capabilities of the students, and the creation of educational environments on macet and/or simulation in matters where they do not find adequate applicable capabilities, will be a positive contribution to the level of education and qualification of the students.
The purpose of this research is to evaluate the Primary and Emergency Care Program students’; number of applications of the professional practices which are prescribed in their duty, authority and responsibilities, and their feeling of self-sufficiency in these issues. This descriptive study was conducted in the 2017-2018 academic year with 62 actively educating students in the 2nd year of First and Emergency Program of Vocational School of Health Services. The data were collected by the researchers using the data forms prepared, before the end of the spring semester exam. The data were analyzed with computer by frequency and percentage, chi-square analysis. Results were evaluated at 95% confidence interval and p <0.05 significance level.The students stated that they could not find the opportunity to implement the specified applications in ratios of; 83.9% assistment in case of emergency delivery, 50% defibrillator usage, 49.2% endotracheal intubation, 22.6% cardiopulmonary resuscitation, 21.3% bleeding control, 19.4% fracture stabilization. Also; it was found that students who had experienced; cardiopulmonary resuscitation, defibrillator use, and emergency delivery at least one time felt more sufficient in these applications when compared to those who had no experience (p˂ 0.05). According to these findings, it is considered that making the necessary arrangements for increasing the application opportunities and establishing educational occasions on makets and / or simulation, in the fields where the students do not have sufficient application opportunities will contribute positive effects on the education and qualification levels of the students.
