In this study, the effects of using the same amount of silica fume and fly ash instead of cement on splitting tensile strength of concrete. In order to achieve this, ballast aggregates obtained from Ankara Hasanoğlan and CEM I 42.5 class cement was used. As pozzolonic admixture 5,10,15,20 and 25% silica fume and fly ash cement were replaced based on their weights. Compression and splitting tensile strength test were conducted on 7, 28 and 90 daily concrete samples. According to the results, it was observed that silica fume added concretes have better compression and splitting tensile strength than reference and fly ash added concretes. The best compression and splitting tensile strength were obtained from 20% silica fume added concretes at every age.
