In this study, the Erzincan extension of the beliefs and rituals belonging to the "water culture" from the Turkish nature cults and the traces in this geography were addressed. The natural cults of the Turks are considered together with the "place" in the water, which is a large part of Earth-Water, and the "water cult" that comes with it into the body. The Turks, the rivers they feed and the mountains they host, were sacred. The basis of the water as sacred is the perception that the creation begins with water and ends with water. The way the water reflects in the mythologies, sacred books and the Turkish people's beliefs has been sought to be identified by examples of its influence on the people's beliefs on the basis of the Erzincan source water and lakes. The field study in Erzincan found that the holy water sources identified were visited by humans for specific purposes, and in these beliefs the priority was the expectation of healing for human and animal diseases. In Erzincan, the discovery of the traces of the Turkish "water culture" and their relationship with the past have been tried to evaluate the findings.
