Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to identify the levels of aggressiveness of body education and sports high school students and to study according to some variables. Research conducted in the screening model in 2015-2016 educational year participated 400 students who studied at the Erciyes University Body Education and Sports High School. The study was developed by Buss and Perry (1992) to measure the levels of aggression of the students involved, updated by Buss and Warren (2000) and adapted by Can (2002) as a data collection tool. The study used the t test (Independent-Samples T Test) for binary comparisons and the one-way variance analysis (One-Way ANOVA) for multiple comparisons. According to the research, the level of aggression of physical education and sports high school students has been found at a medium level. There were also significant differences between the levels of aggressiveness of students and the age, gender, athletic license status, mother education level and father education level variables; there were no significant differences between class level and department variables.
