Aydın ilinde 2005-2007 yılları arasında yürütülen bu çalışmada çilek alanlarında önemli zararlara neden olan Noctuidae (Lepidoptera) familyası türlerinin saptanması, bunların Aydın ilindeki yayılışı, zararı ve popülasyon dalgalanmaları incelenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda Spodoptera littoralis (Boisduval, 1883), Helicoverpa armigera (Hübner, 1808) ve Acronicta rumicis (Linnaeus, 1758)'in zarar oluşturduğu belirlenmiştir. Zararlıların çoğunlukla Sultanhisar ilçesinde ortaya çıktığı gözlenmiştir. Söz konusu zararlıların larva döneminde çilek bitkisinin yapraklarında delikler açtığı ve daha sonrada bitkinin göbeğine doğru ilerleyerek zarar meydana getirdiği saptanmıştır. Zararlıların popülasyon değişimi incelendiğinde ise, popülasyonun eylül-ekim aylarında en yüksek düzeyine ulaştığı ve bulaşmaların çoğunlukla bahçe etrafındaki yonca ve mısır tarlalarından kaynaklandığı saptanmıştır..
In this study, conducted between 2005 and 2007, the identification of the Noctuidae (Lepidoptera) family species that have caused significant damage in the grain areas, their spread, damage and population fluctuations in the province of Aydin were studied. The study found that Spodoptera littoralis (Boisduval, 1883), Helicoverpa armigera (Hübner, 1808) and Acronicta rumicis (Linnaeus, 1758) were damaged. The majority of the damages were observed in the Sultanhisar district. It has been found that the damages in the larva period opened holes in the leaves of the grapefruit plant and later progressed towards the stomach of the plant and caused damage. When studying the variation of population of the damaged, it was found that the population reached the highest levels in September-October, and that the infections were mostly caused by the junk and Egyptian fields around the garden.
