Purpose: Preanalytical errors constitute more than 70% of all errors occured in clinical laboratories. Most of the pre-analytical errors occur during patient preparation, sample collection, sample transportation and preparation and sample storage.Methods:Laboratory error recorded between 2006-2014 were analyzed retrospectively. Pre-analytic, analytic and post-analytic errors were evaluated after Pareto analysis. Results: The error rates were found to be 77.8%, 19.26% and 2.92% in preanalytical, analytical and postanalytical phases retrospectively.It has been evaluated that, hemolysed samples were found to be the most frequent error between 2006 and 2014
