Sağlık çalışanlarına yönelik şiddet incelenirken, sadece sağlık hizmet sunucusu olarak görev yapan doktor, hemşire, teknisyen vb. meslek grupları ele alınmaktadır. Ancak hastanenin her yerinde hasta ve hasta yakınlarıyla iletişim halinde olan temizlik, güvenlik, yemek, sekreterlik gibi hizmet alım personellerinin yaşadığı şiddet olaylarının bu denli bir analizi hiç yapılmamıştır. Hastanemizde görev yapan 894 hizmet alım personelinin 578’i üzerinde anket yöntemiyle elde edilen verilerin SPSS 17.0 programıyla yapılan analizi sonucunda; hizmet alım personelimizin % 40.1 (218 kişi) i şiddete maruz kaldığını,çok şiddette maruz kalanların %54.1 ini kadınların oluşturduğu, %16.9 ile 25- 34 yaş grubunda olduğu, %33.5 ile temizlik faaliyetlerinde görev yapan personel olduğu, %50.9 ile lise eğitim seviyesine sahip hizmet alım personelleri olduğu, çalışılan bölüme bakıldığında % 43.7 ile rotasyona tabi hastanemizin çeşitli hizmet bölgelerinde çalışan personellerden oluşan diğer grubunun olduğu sonrasında poliklinik (%22.3) ve servis (19.5)olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Fiziksel şiddete uğrayanların % 66.7 si erkek, Sözel şiddete uğrayanların %61.8 i kadın olduğu, kadınların ve erkeklerinçok maruz kaldığı şiddet türünün sözel şiddetaz maruz kaldığı şiddet türü psikolojik şiddet olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan çalışmada; poliklinik ( %72.5), servis ( %70.0), acil servis (% 55.6), ameliyathane/ yoğun bakım (% 46.2) ve diğer birimlerde (% 60.6) çalışanlarınfazla sözel şiddete maruz kaldığı tespit edilmiştir.
While the violence against health workers is studied, only the doctors, nurses, technicians, etc. who serve as a health service provider. The professional groups are addressed. However, there has never been such an analysis of the violence incidents experienced by the staff of services such as cleaning, safety, food, secretariat, who are in contact with the patient and his family throughout the hospital. The study found that in clinics (72.5 percent), service (70.0 percent), emergency service (55.6 percent), surgical/intense care (46.2 percent) and other units (60.6 percent) employees were exposed to excessive oral violence.
