Abstract:

In this study, the aim is to develop a scale of attitude towards determining the attitudes of teachers candidates who are in need of teaching what energy is and how to produce and use renewable energy sources. Studies related to the first application form of the scale 2011-2012 educational academic year in the spring semester, the Nine-May University School of Education Science Information Teaching department in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th classes were conducted with 402 Science and Technology teachers candidate students. The data set’s KMO value is .87. The analysis of the factor is based on four factors: scale, application desire, importance of education, national interests, environmental awareness and investments. The final scale indicates the variance of 51. It is 94. The reliability of the scale is .87 and the reliability of the factors accordingly. 97, .80, .78 and. It is 72. Statistical analysis shows that the attitude scale to renewable energy is a valid and reliable data collection tool.
