Kur’an metninin sahih biçimde anlaşılması çerçevesinde modern dönemde üzerinde çokça durulan bağlamın gözetilmesi ilkesinin gerek ülkemizde ge-rekse yurtdışında çok sayıda araştırmaya konu olduğu gözlenmektedir. Bu çalışmaların önemli bir kısmında bu ilkeden hareketle geçmişte ve günü-müzde sergilenen Kur’an yorumlarının bağlama aykırı olduğu gerekçesiyle kabul edilemez bulunduğu müşahede edilmektedir. Bu noktada en önemli eleştiri konularından birini hususî içerikli bir nassın umumî olarak telakki edilmesi, diğer bir ifadeyle hâs bir lafzın medlûlünün umuma hamledilmesi oluşturmaktadır. Böyle bir yaklaşımda fıkıh usulünde bilinen ve pek çok mü-fessir tarafından kabulle karşılanan “İtibar lafzın umumunadır, sebebin hu-susî oluşuna değil” biçiminde formüle edilen kurala yönelik eleştirel ve kuş-kucu bakış etkili olmuştur. Bu da beraberinde “Acaba Kur’an’ın anlaşılma-sında bağlama riayet ilkesinin durması gereken yer neresidir?” sorusunu gündeme getirmiştir.
In the framework of the true understanding of the Qur’an text, the principle of monitoring the context that has been widely focused on in modern times is also observed that in our country ge-rekse abroad a lot of research is subject to. In some of these works, it is not acceptable that the explanations of the Qur’an presented in the past and in the day-to-day are contradictory with this principle. In this point, one of the most important criticism subjects is the publication of a specific content of a nass in general, in other words, the publication of a word of a medluli. In such a approach, the critical and bird-powering view of the rule formulated in the form of "Authority is the general word, not the reason's hu-susi formation" which is known in the fictional procedure and accepted by many m-fessers has been effective. “Where is the Qur’an, where is the Qur’an? He brought his question.
