Venous thromboembolism (VTE) that includes Pulmonary Embolism and Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT) is common and severe clinical condition. There are several hereditary and acquired risk factors in the etiology of VTE. The early diagnosis of PE is very important due to high mortality and morbidity rate. Since PE sometimes can have asymptomatic course, the diagnosis stage can be harder for emergency medicine physicians. In this study, a case without known risk factors except Rheumatoid Arthritis is presented to take attention on this issue.
