The objective of this study was to evaluate the parameters involved in Enteral Nutritional Therapy (NER) of critically ill children admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. Data from the charts of daily nutritional monitoring of children of both sexes attended at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a Public Hospital of Sergipe were used. The variables evaluated were: sex, age in months, date of birth, date of hospitalization, hospitalization time, respiratory aspects, route of administration, diet name, weight at admission, KSN, prescribed VTE, infused VET, ml / h, volume infused in ml, volume infused in Kcal, protein in g, protein in g / kg / day, pathology and days of fasting. The results show that calorie delivery for hospitalized children was found to be inadequate as recommended for the age group. It was concluded that the nutritional therapy of critically ill patients admitted to the Pediatric ICU presented an inadequate supply of calories and protein.
