In this study, the events of the Enlightenment period, the French Enlightenment and the French Revolution will be examined without breaking from the historical context. That's 17.in the century, the new intellectual movement of Descartes, rationalism, deeply affected all of Europe. 18.in terms of the results that took place in the century to the present day, the beginning of 1688 with the British revolution and 1789 with the French Revolution reached the climax of a period, and in this period in the Western world science and philosophical discoveries, social and political processes are meant as a whole. When all the developments are considered together with the Enlightenment, they have led to more radical developments in France. The aim of the study is to go through the following stages. The common ideas of absolute monarchy and the tyrannical administration and oppression of the Church, the people's rebellion and rebellion against this understanding of government will be discussed. At the end of the study, subjects, thinkers and events will be discussed in depth, and eventually the Jacobins, the bloodlusters after the French Revolution, will be told how the bloody stones were laid on the road from absolute monarchy to the Republic.
