Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to adapt the Individual Entrepreneurship Orientation Scale (BGYÖ) to Turkey, which was developed by Bolton and Lane (2012). The concept of entrepreneurship, which plays an important role in economic development and social growth, can always be said to be a focus of interest in the framework of academic studies. Therefore, in every scale and sector need to identify the individual entrepreneurial direction. Therefore, it is important to ensure the adaptation of the BGYÖ to Turkey to be used in future studies. The research was carried out with third and fourth-class students who studied in the business department of the state universities in Karabük, Kastamonu, Zonguldak and Bandırma. In the process of adaptation of the scale, Bristol vd. In 1973, the five-step translation procedure was followed. After the validity of the language was provided, the structural validity and reliability of the scale obtained was analyzed. The building validity has been analyzed and the verifying factor analysis has been performed. According to the findings obtained by the results of the analyses, it can be said that the adaptation of the BGYÖ to Turkey is acceptable, reliable and valid.
