Bilgi ve İletişim Teknolojilerinin (BİT) eğitim amaçlı kullanımı öğretim elemanı ve öğrenci gibi insan gücü kalitesini etkilediği gibi, fiziksel ortam ve eğitimde kullanılan araç-gereç kalitesini de etkilemektedir. BİT’in kullanımı ile birlikte, öğretim yöntemleri ve uygulamaları ile içerik ve değerlendirme süreçleri de gelişmiştir. Öğretim elemanlarının görüşleri BİT’in eğitim alnında etkin kullanılmasını sağlayan en önemli konulardan biridir. Bu bağlamda bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretim elemanlarının BİT’in kullanımına ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi’ne bağlı Afyon Meslek Yüksekokulunda görevli olan ve bu çalışmaya katılmayı gönüllü olarak kabul eden öğretim elemanları oluşturmaktadır. Öğretim elemanlarının öğretim materyallerinde bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerini kullanımına ilişkin görüşlerini ortaya koymak için yapılan bu çalışmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak anket kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılan anket Berkyürek (2008) tarafından da yapılmış olan BİT’e Yönelik Görüş Ölçeğinden yararlanılarak öğretim elemanlarına uygun olarak araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulmuştur. Ankete katılan öğretim elemanlarının demografik ve diğer özelliklerin belirlenmesinde yüzde ve frekans analizleri, BİT eğitim sürecinde kullanımına yönelik görüşlerinin tespitinde ise standart sapma ve aritmetik ortalama analizleri kullanılmıştır. Bununla birlikte araştırmada, öğretim elamanlarının BİT kullanımına yönelik görüşleri arasında demografik ve diğer özellikleri açısından karşılaştırılmasında t testi ve varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Sonuçta, katılımcıların BİT kullanımı ile ilgili olumlu görüşlere sahip oldukları ve BİT hakkındaki görüşlerinde daha önce ders alma durumlarına göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği belirlenirken diğer değişkenlere yönelik anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır.
The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ITT) for educational purposes affects the quality of human power, such as teachers and students, the physical environment and the quality of the tools used in education. With the use of BIT, the teaching methods and practices and the content and evaluation processes have also evolved. The opinions of teachers are one of the most important topics that make it possible to effectively use BIT in the field of education. In this context, the purpose of this research is to determine the opinions of teachers about the use of BIT. The sample of the research is made by faculty members who are responsible for the Afyon Professional High School associated with the Afyon Kocatepe University and who voluntarily accept participation in this study. In this study, the survey was used as a method of data collection to reveal the opinions of teachers about the use of information and communication technologies in teaching materials. The survey used as a data collection tool in the study was also done by Berkyürek (2008) and was created by researchers in accordance with the teaching members, taking advantage of the BIT’s oriented view scale. In the determination of the demographic and other characteristics of the teachers involved in the survey, percentage and frequency analysis, while in the determination of their views on the use of the BIT training process, standard deviation and arithmetic average analysis were used. However, in the research, the t test and variance analysis were used to compare the views of teachers on the use of BIT in terms of demographic and other characteristics. After all, it was revealed that participants had positive opinions about the use of BIT and that their opinions about BIT showed a significant difference from previously taught circumstances while there was no significant difference towards other variables.
