The study was conducted as cross-sectional, descriptive and correlative to determine the relation between ethical sensitivity and critical thinking of nursing students. The study was conducted at nursing department in a health vocational college of a university. Universe of the study was comprised of 324 students, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students in the spring term of the 2016-2017 academic year. Sample selection was not done as 233 students volunteered and consented to participate in the study, and thus 72% of the study population was provided. Data was collected with Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher in line with the literature, Modified Moral Sensitivity Questionnaire for Student Nurses (MMSQSN) and California Critical Thinking Dispositions Inventory (CCTDI). The mean age of the students in the study was 21.54±2.00, 72.1% of them were girls and 27.9% of them were boys. It has been detected that 68.7% of the students had ethical problems and 77.5% of these students experienced this problem when giving information to patients about their diseases, and 74.3% had problems with care applications. The mean ESSANS score of the students was 4.63± 0.56, the meanCCTDI score mean was 215.87± 22.52. It has been found that ethical sensitivity of nursing student was neutral, critical thinking disposition was low. There was no significant correlation between ESSANS and CCTDI score means of the students (p>0.05) .
