Abstract:

OZ Türkçenin ustalarından biri olan Refik Halit, ilk yazılarından itibaren sade Türkçesi, tatlı anlatımıyla dikkatleri çekmiş biridir. Üslûp da, temelde anlatılacak şeye uygun dili seçmektir. O, hikâyelerinde çevreyi, olayı ve kahramanı sezdirecek bir dikkatle tasvir etmiş, insanı karakter özelliğine uygun bir anlatımla somutlaştırmıştır. Gazete yazılarını ise bir sohbet havasında, kendinden bir şeyler katarak ilerleyen, konuşmalarla süsle-nen, hatıralarla zenginleştirilen anlatımlar olarak kaleme almıştır. Bu yazılarda öne çıkan bir başka anlatım özelliği, mizahi yönü ve esprili anlatımıdır. Yine tasvirlerinde renk ve ışık unsurlarını belirgin kılarak sözü daha canlı kıldığı gibi ifadeyi süslemeyi de başar-mıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Refik Halit Karay, sa-natkâr, üslup, mizah.   ABSTRACT Refik Halit, one of the most crucial authors in Turkish Literature, had become remarkable with his plain language and his fine style. Style means selecting the most suitable language for what is essentially going to be expressed. He describes the environment, the event, and the hero with an attention which makes them understandable, and makes human be embodied with vivid character traits. He writes his news-paper articles in a chat format, as a series of narrations which progress by adding something from himself to them, larding, and being en-forced with memories. Another feature of the narration that comes to fore in these articles is humorous sense and witty narration. He suc-ceeds in adorning the expression, and makes the words more vivid by making the elements such as color and light clear. Key Words: Refik Halit Karay, author, style, humour.
