Bulmaca, kavram öğretmek veya öğrenmeyi değerlendirmek amacıyla çeşitli tarzlarda düzenlenen oyundur. Eğitimin çeşitli kademelerinde, farklı sınıf düzeylerinde her disiplinde ondan yararlanılabilir. Bu çalışma 5, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki bulmaca etkinliklerinin öğrencilere eş anlamlı sözcük öğretimindeki rolünün belirlenmesi amacıyla nitel araştırma türlerinden durum çalışması yöntemiyle ele alınmıştır. 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim yılında kullanılan Türkçe ders kitaplarından Anıttepe Yayınları 5. sınıf kitabındaki 5 bulmaca etkinliğinin tamamının 6 sınıf düzeyinde Ekoyay Yayınları’na ait kitaptaki 5 bulmaca etkinliğinden sadece 1’inin MEB Yayınları’na ait kitaptaki 6 etkinlikten ise 5’inin eş anlamlı kelime öğretimi ile ilgili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. 7. sınıf düzeyinde kullanılan Türkçe ders kitaplarından MEB1 kitabındaki 8 etkinliğin tamamının MEB2 kitabındaki 3 etkinliğin 2’sinin Özgün Yayınları’nda ise 14 etkinlikten 8’inin eş anlamlı kelime öğretimi ile ilgili olduğu belirlenmiştir. 8. sınıf düzeyinde MEB Yayınları’na ait kitapta 14 etkinlikten 13’ünün bu özelliğe sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. 5. sınıf ders kitabında 22 6. Sınıf Ekoyay kitabında 5 ve MEB Yayınları’nda 32 7. sınıf kitaplarından MEB1 kitabında 26, MEB2 kitabında 6 ve Özgün Yayınları’nda 48 8. sınıf ders kitabında ise 56 sözcüğün bulmaca etkinliklerinde eş anlamlıları ile öğretilmek istendiği belirlenmiştir.
Puzzle is a game organized in a variety of styles with the aim of teaching or evaluating the concept. In various stages of education, it can be benefited in each discipline at different class levels. This study; 5, 6, 7 and 8 class Turkish curricula has been addressed by the method of study of the situation from the quality research types in order to determine the role of the puzzle activities in the language teaching to students. From the Turkish curriculum books used in the 2019-2020 educational year, the 5 puzzle events in the 5th class book of the Anıttepe Publications; only 1 of the 5 puzzle events in the 6th class book of the Ekoyay Publications; and 5 of the 6 events in the MEB publications are related to the equivalent word teaching. The 7. Of the Turkish lesson books used at class level, all 8 events in the MEB1 book; 2 of the 3 events in the MEB2 book; and 8 of the 14 events in the Original Publications are related to the equivalent word teaching. In the book of MEB Publications at the 8th grade, 13 of 14 events have this feature. 5th grade class 22; 6. Class Ekoyay book 5 and MEB publications 32; 7th class books in MEB1 book 26, 6th in MEB2 book and 48th in Original publications; 8th class curriculum book 56 words are intended to be taught with the equivalents in puzzle activities.
