Ekonomi biliminin temel konuları arz ve talebin, teknolojinin gelişimi ile yeniden şekillendiği günümüzde, para otoritelerinin enflasyon politikalarını da gözden geçirmeleri gerekmektedir. Genel olarak talep, maliyet ya da yapısal kaynaklı gelişen enflasyon süreci de teknolojik gelişmelerden etkilenmektedir. Bu çalışmada talep kaynaklı enflasyon sürecinin, gelişen teknoloji ve internet altyapısından etkilenerek özellikle E-ticaret hacminin artması ile etkilendiği varsayımı araştırılmıştır. E-ticaretin, son yıllarda teknolojinin ve lojistik sektörünün gelişimi ile kullanımı artmış ve hızla artmaya devam etmektedir. Tüketiciler ürünler hakkındaki bilgileri daha kolay elde etmekte ve en uygun fiyata ürünü alabilmekte, satıcılar ise E-ticareti birer satış ofisi olarak kullanmaktadırlar. Bu kapsamda Türkiye üzerinde yapılan analizlerde E-ticaret ile enflasyon arasında varsayımı destekleyici sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.

The main topics of economics are today, when supply and demand are re-formed with the development of technology, the monetary authorities need to review the inflation policies as well. In general, the development of demand, cost or structural inflation process is also influenced by technological developments. This study has studied the assumption that the demand-based inflation process is influenced by developing technology and internet infrastructure, by the increase in the volume of e-commerce. The use of e-commerce has increased and continues to grow rapidly in recent years with the development of technology and the logistics sector. Consumers are easier to obtain information about the products and get the product at the most affordable price, while sellers use E-commerce as a sales office. In this context, the analysis on Turkey has achieved supportive results for the assumption between e-commerce and inflation.

Inflation generally develops on demand, cost or structural basis. Inflation is also affected by technological developments. The use of e-commerce has increased in recent years with the development of technology and logistics sector and continues to increase rapidly. Consumers can easily obtain information about the products and buy the product at the most affordable price, and sellers use E-commerce as a sales office. In this study, the assumption that the demand - driven inflation process is affected by the increasing technology and internet infrastructure, especially the increase in the volume of E - commerce, is investigated. In this context, inflation assumption of e-commerce in the analysis of the obtained results supporting Turkey.
